The Scattered Pages are a tried and true trio from
Texas, admired as much for their sensibility in the studio as they
are for their volatility on stage. They are an intellectual band,
colorful and dynamic, teetering on the edge of absurdity.
Theirs is the passion of Louis Pasture, the playfulness of Mozart,
the confidence of Don Quixote. They are the wreck of a thousand
ships, the kisses on a thousand lips, and their yesterday is your
tomorrow. Their music is pirate song and children’s story,
a soft, prairie wind on your leathered, cowboy skin. The Scattered
Pages are a vaudevillian gospel anthem unto themselves, but their
song is anyone’s, and in their voices can you hear your
own. Their dreams are your dreams. Their fears are your fears.
Their loves are your loves. And their music is your music.

Reviews for This is Where the Story
Ends :
"The Scattered Pages hold tight to the
traditional of wandering songs, the kind of country music that
seems to fade over a track’s entirety. The Scattered Pages
do it well..." - Adam Schragin, Urban
Pollution
"My impression of The Scattered Pages all in all is a very
good one... with a number of records out, and Lazy Are The
Skeletons coming out later this year, it seems like this
group of folks is really worth the attention." - Indieville
"A smart trio from Texas that knows how to write gritty tale-heavy
indie pop that is decidedly retro sounding. And when I say retro,
I mean like listening to your grandparents 45’s retro."
- Smother.net
"The Scattered Pages are three nice, clean-cut young gentlemen
from Texas who play pleasant orchestral pop a`la Ladybug Transistor
or Essex Green. Their music is most interesting when spiced up
with crunchy electronic beats or country fiddlin and yee-hawin.”
- Amy Phillips, Village Voice.
